Job summary

Amber House in Broughton, Scunthorpe is seeking Night Support Workers to provide compassionate care for adults with learning disabilities in a residential home. You will work night shifts with flexible patterns, 36, 42 or 48 hours per week.

The role offers an hourly rate of £12.80–£13.75, plus a £250 joining bonus after probation, and a supportive team with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience may be an advantage, but a caring attitude matters.
• Able to work with adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Support young adults and adults with Learning Disabilities in a residential home.
• Provide high standards of care in line with care plans and policies.
• Identify needs and preferences and provide personal care.
• Encourage community relationships by promoting activities.
• Accurately report and maintain records as required.
• Be a kind, empathetic team player.
