Amber Gateway in Scunthorpe is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Responder) for 40 hours per week on a permanent basis. The role involves lone working and both day support services and community work, with a salary of £12.95 per hour.

You will deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, promote independence and dignity, and contribute to meaningful daily living in various environments.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Own vehicle with business use insurance.
• Ability to work confidently as a lone worker.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning and/or physical disabilities and complex needs in a day services environment and in the community.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with care plans and policies.
• Record, report and maintain documentation accurately.
• Encourage positive community engagement through meaningful activities.
• Work professionally, empathetically and as part of a team.
