Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is recruiting a Cook for Stirlings Care Centre, Wantage, Oxfordshire. You will join a small catering team to prepare nutritious meals for residents, with weekend work possible and no split shifts. The role emphasizes quality dining experiences and personal care in a warm home setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen.
• Catering for specialist diets and large groups.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required or in place.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in a care home setting.
• Support nutritional needs and accommodate individual preferences.
• Cook for large groups and maintain high standards of food safety.
• Weekend work may be required as part of the catering team.
