Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cook to support residents in a supervised setting. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow planned menus and ensure high standards of presentation and safety.

This role is based at a supported residential setting in Milton Keynes (Great Holm area), with a Monday–Friday 12–6pm schedule. The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds 706/1/2 or NVQ Level 2, knowledge of food hygiene, and the ability to work independently within a structured environment.

• Ability to work independently in a structured environment.
• Good communication and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus and portion guidelines.
• Ensure food presentation meets quality and consistency standards.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Manage stock levels and assist with basic ordering to minimise waste.
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations and follow site procedures.
