Oakshed Care in Camborne is seeking a Community Care Worker to provide personal care, meal prep, medication support, and emotional companionship. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for part-time or full-time arrangements.

Candidates should have their own vehicle and a full UK driving licence; English is required. DBS check, references, and successful training completion are expected.

Qualifications

• English is required.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• 2 suitable references.
• Successful completion of necessary training.
• Experience in home care is recommended but not required.

Responsabilités

• Help with personal care such as showering, oral care and dressing.
• Assist with continence care, skin integrity and pads changes.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks; assist with eating and drinking.
• Help with medicines after competency check.
• Plan and assist with shopping and light house duties.
• Support visits to health professionals and provide emotional care.
• Engage in social activities and accompany service users on outings.
