Job summary

Linkers Health in West Thurrock, Essex is seeking Care Workers to join our team. This agency role offers flexible part-time shifts (20 hours per week) across days, nights and weekends. You will provide person-centred care, support residents with meals and activities, and help maintain independence with empathy.

An ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and a valid DBS. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification is preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a big advantage.
• No prior care work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure facility.
• Report irregularities to management.
• Interact with residents with care and compassion.
• Complete all required reports accurately.
• Engage with families and visitors professionally.
