You'll help develop life skills, support daily routines, and collaborate with families and professionals to deliver positive outcomes. We offer induction and training, career progression, and a supportive leadership culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting children and young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, patient and resilient approach.
• Able to work both in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support to children and young people.
• Build positive relationships to promote wellbeing and development.
• Support daily routines, education, hobbies and independence.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and community activities.
• Promote positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches.
• Safeguard children and follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
• Assist with household tasks to maintain a safe home environment.
• Administer medication where trained and authorised.
• Work with families and external professionals to achieve outcomes.
• Participate in shift work, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
