Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is recruiting a Care Worker to help residents lead dignified lives. You will assist with washing, dressing, meals, medication and socialising as part of a caring team.

No previous experience is required; comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring are provided. Working hours follow a set three-shift rota including days, afternoons and nights, with enhanced pay for unsocial hours and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with washing, dressing, eating meals, taking medication and socialising.
• Assist in caring for older people including those with dementia, ensuring comfort and safety.
