Job summary

Regal Care Trading Limited in Nottingham seeks a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. You will provide compassionate care to older people, including those living with dementia, ensuring they feel safe, respected and valued.

No two days are the same: you will assist with personal care, meals, social engagement and help create a warm, homely environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
• You will work as part of a busy care team to deliver high standards of care.
• A professional, reliable and compassionate approach is essential.
• The right to work in the UK and good English language skills are required.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assisting residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Supporting residents to participate in activities and social engagement.
• Following individual care plans to ensure personalised care.
• Recording care provided and communicating effectively with colleagues.
• Promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
