Job summary

Derbyshire County Council seeks Care Workers for Eccles Fold Day Centre in Chapel-en-le-Frith, delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older clients. You will support social participation and independence while keeping accurate records in a safe, friendly environment.

The post requires flexible work 5 days in 7, with weekend shifts, and full training provided. A pension and generous holiday entitlement accompany the role within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential-full training will be provided.
A kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting older people.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients, tailored to their individual needs.
Support clients to participate in social activities and maintain their independence.
Maintain accurate and timely care records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
Working as part of a valued care team, you'll be ensuring our clients stay happy, healthy and well.
Understanding the needs of older people, including those with dementia, is an important part of the work.
