HC-One is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our care home kitchen, preparing wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents daily.

You will be an experienced cook with NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, plus Level 2 Food Hygiene. Strong HACCP knowledge, menu planning creativity, and teamwork are essential as you support high standards of safety and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified cook with NVQ2 or equivalent
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety practices
• Experience in care home kitchen desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome meals meeting residents' nutritional needs
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Plan and contribute to varied, appetising menus
