Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Chef to prepare wholesome, homemade meals in a care home kitchen. You will ensure nutritious, appetising dishes and contribute to menu planning with a caring, team-oriented approach.

You will have an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and HACCP awareness. A passion for residents’ wellbeing and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Required S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Must hold Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• HACCP knowledge and food safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals for Residents.
• Plan menus with creativity while meeting nutritional needs.
• Present nutritious dishes and maintain high kitchen standards.
• Uphold safeguarding and food safety practices within the team.
