Job summary

HC-One is recruiting a dedicated Chef for our care home kitchen. You will prepare wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring enjoyment to Residents daily. The role requires NVQ2/Catering qualifications, Level 2 Food Hygiene, and strong HACCP knowledge.

You will work with a caring, supportive team to deliver high-quality meals. We value creativity in menu planning and presentation, and a positive attitude that reflects HC-One's kindness values.

Qualifications

• Qualified cook with S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate must be held.
• Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Creativity in menu planning and presenting nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals for Residents.
• Maintain high food safety standards and HACCP compliance.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet nutritional needs.
• Support residents during meal service with care and courtesy.
