Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support the care team in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Service Users and staff. This role offers benefits and development opportunities within a community-oriented home.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Genuine interest in working in a social care environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Home's Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home's furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean and well maintained.
• Clean all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of waste safely per COSHH and policy.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly; communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
