Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the care team and maintain a clean, safe environment for Service Users and staff. The role supports a range of duties from cleaning bedrooms and communal areas to stocking supplies, with a focus on a respectful, compassionate approach.

Applicants should be able to work under pressure, communicate at all levels, and be committed to learning and developing within the care setting. Apprenticeship opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Understand Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Demonstrate care and compassion in a social care setting.
• Able to manage pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure homes furniture and fittings are clean.
• Clean all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings.
• Clean bedrooms weekly; communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals per COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
