Job summary

HC-One is seeking an experienced Chef to join our care home kitchen, preparing wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents. You’ll show creativity in menu planning and present nutritious, appetising dishes with a caring touch.

You will hold an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or equivalent, plus Level 2 Food Hygiene, and have strong HACCP knowledge. A team-focused, positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified with S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Strong HACCP knowledge and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals in a care home kitchen.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional needs and are appetising.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Work as part of a caring kitchen team to support Residents.
