Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our care home kitchen. You will prepare wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents daily, while upholding high food safety standards.

Applicants should have an NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or equivalent, plus Level 2 Food Hygiene. You will work as part of a caring team, delivering meals with pride and compassion.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook with a recognised qualification.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to plan, prepare and present nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals for Residents daily.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety in line with HACCP.
