Job summary

Lifeways Ilminster is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help two sociable residents live life their way with dignity and joy. You'll drive company cars with a full UK licence, join a friendly team, and take on activities from shopping trips to days out in the community, while monitoring health and supporting wellbeing.

Shifts include 14-hour, day shifts with 37.5 hours per week and weekend work; training days and career progression are provided to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid UK manual driving licence.
• No prior care experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support two sociable residents with complex health needs and accompany them on activities.
• Manage shopping trips and days out in the community.
• Assist with medication, health monitoring, finances, and dietary needs.
• Support with domestic tasks and emotional wellbeing.
