Job summary

Lifeways Ilminster is hiring a Support Worker to help two sociable residents with complex health needs live life their way, with outings, shopping and activities in the Ilminster area.

You’ll provide medication support, monitor health, assist with finances and meals, and help with daily tasks while keeping a caring, reliable and humorous approach. Full-time shifts include weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK manual driving licence.
• Patient, empathetic, reliable with a sense of humour.
• Willing to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Support two residents with complex health needs on shopping trips and outings.
• Assist with medication and health monitoring.
• Support financial and dietary needs and domestic tasks.
• Provide emotional wellbeing support.
