Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join a person-centered team, supporting a client in the Upton area and at Clarence Park Village. The role focuses on building meaningful one-to-one relationships and providing respectful care that promotes independence and quality of life.

Full training is provided. Shift pattern is 7am-5pm with alternating weekends, and you will work closely with family to ensure consistency of care and wellbeing for the client.

Qualifications

• Kind, patient and dependable character.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
• Experience in care is helpful but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to the client.
• Assist with personal care including hoisting as needed.
• Prepare drinks and meals.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing at all times.
• Collaborate with family to maintain consistency of care.
