Job summary

Care Dorset is inviting applications for a Care Assistant at Streets Meadow. You will support residents with personal care, daily living tasks and record keeping, within a compassionate and safe environment.

Two vacancies available (32h and 37h) with shift work and alternate weekends. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be committed to dignity and infection control; extensive training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK
• Willingness to work shift patterns including weekends
• Ability to undertake personal care and maintain dignity

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties including toileting, washing and transfers
• Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Support clients while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Maintain client records with brief notes on individual records
• Comply with health and safety requirements for manual handling, transfer hoisting and infection control
• Work within the Gold Standards Framework
