Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking caring and committed people to join Byrnhill Grove, our registered care home in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, to provide person centred care to residents. You will support residents with daily needs, follow care plans, promote independence and work flexibly across a rota including evenings and weekends, contributing to a safe, welcoming home environment.

Qualifications

• A caring and empathetic approach with ability to build trusting relationships.
• Ability to deliver care in line with person-centred plans and promote inclusion.
• Calm and professional in emergencies; commitment to dignity and high-quality care.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with day-to-day needs including personal care, mobility, and wellbeing.
• Follow personalised care plans and deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Work across a rota including early mornings, evenings and weekends; participate in on-call rota if needed.
