Job summary

Welford Healthcare's Isle Court Nursing Home in Bicton, Shrewsbury is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents across day and night shifts. You’ll help with personal care, meals, activities, and daily living, with full training provided.

No formal experience necessary; a kind personality and good communication are valued. You’ll join a supportive team at Isle Court Nursing Home, with an emphasis on patient dignity, recording care, and ongoing development within a friendly local employer.

Qualifications

• No experience required; compassionate personality preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication, people skills.
• Team-oriented with flexible weekend work.
• Ability to use electronic devices and/or computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Organise and take part in social and recreational activities.
• Assist with residents’ personal care and mealtimes.
• Provide support to help residents maintain their independence.
• Get to know residents and their families to provide the best possible care.

Hours: Days, Nights or Bank - 22, 33 or 44 per week

Location: Isle Court Nursing Home, Isle lane, Bicton, Shrewsbury, SY3 8LH
