Standon Gardens Extra Care in Tamworth is recruiting Support Worker / Carer to provide person-centred care in residents' own apartments on site. You will promote independence, dignity and choice while ensuring comfort, safety and wellbeing during day-to-day tasks.

The role offers a varied shift pattern, including early mornings and evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with full training and ongoing support. Previous care experience is preferred, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care, ensuring dignity, comfort and safety.
• Assist with daily living: meals, personal care, housekeeping.
• Support with medication following care plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate care records and plan documentation.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and professionals.
• Support individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia appropriately.
• Encourage independence and assist with choices where possible.
• Participate in ongoing training and pursue qualifications.
