Job summary

Standon Gardens Extra Care in Tamworth is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker / Carer to provide person-centred care in residents' own apartments on site. You will promote independence and dignity while supporting daily living and wellbeing.

Role requires a flexible, team-oriented individual who can work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and bank holidays. Permanent after a successful trial period; 21 hours per week at £13.51 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care and ensure comfort, dignity and safety.
• Assist with day-to-day living: meals, personal hygiene, cleaning and household tasks.
• Support with medication in line with care plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation per health and safety rules.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and professionals.
