Job summary

Riverside is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily living activities. You will work as part of a compassionate team, delivering care in line with individual support plans and maintaining detailed records.

The role requires empathy, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding residents' well-being. You will be trained to provide showering, shaving, toileting, mobility support, and medication assistance while promoting independence and community

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer focused, residential environment.
• Awareness of housing and Health and Safety legislation and regulation National Care Standards Awareness.
• Flexibility to work hours to meet customer and business needs, including outside of office hours and lone working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct personal care to residents in line with care plans (showering, shaving, toileting, continence management, personal hygiene).
• Help residents with mobility, meals, domestic duties, and personal affairs per support plans.
• Record care and medication support accurately and report concerns to a manager.
