Job summary

Riverside Group is seeking a Care Assistant at Protheroe House, Haringey to provide personal care and support to residents on a 37.5-hour, permanent basis. You will work within a shift rota across seven days, ensuring dignity and quality of life for residents.

The role requires experience in a customer-focused residential setting, awareness of housing and Health & Safety rules, and flexibility to cover shifts including potential outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused residential care.
• Awareness of housing and Health & Safety legislation.
• Flexibility to work hours including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to residents in line with care plans.
• Recognise signs of distress and respond appropriately.
• Maintain detailed records of care and medications.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Support meal preparation and light domestic duties.
• Communicate clearly with residents and safeguarding teams.
