Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents at TheCotswoldCare Home in Burford. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a safe, welcoming environment.

You will work with our clinical and senior teams, building relationships with residents and families while following care plans and recording precise notes. Weekend availability is required for this permanent role.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities in line with their individual needs and preferences.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Encouraging residents to take part in activities, hobbies and social engagement within the home.
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to senior team members.
• Maintaining accurate care records and following agreed care plans.
• Helping to create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Working as part of a supportive team and taking part in training and development opportunities.

Education
