Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking a Care Assistant on a bank basis for The Cotswold Home in Burford. The role involves delivering high-quality personal care, supporting residents with daily activities and promoting engagement while upholding residents’ dignity and independence.

DBS checks are part of the safeguarding process, and sponsorship is not provided. The position offers flexible bank shifts, weekend availability, and benefits including enhanced pay on leave and well-being support.

Qualifications

• Deliver and maintain a high standard of personal care to residents in line with their needs and outcomes.
• Support residents’ mental and physical activity through conversation, outings and engaging activities.
• Assist residents and visitors and refer to the person in charge when needed.
• Ensure the living environment meets residents’ needs with respect for dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Encourage social activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and other recreations.
• Assist with daily living tasks, monitoring wellbeing and comfort.
• Uphold safeguarding and DBS processes during recruitment and employment.
