Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality personal care to residents at Rush Court Care Home in Wallingford. You’ll support daily living activities with dignity and respect, helping residents thrive in a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care ensuring dignity and independence.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Encourage participation in activities, hobbies and social events.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes; maintain care records.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Work in a supportive team; participate in training and development.
