Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Care Assistant at The Denby, Huddersfield, for a permanent full-time role. The position involves 42 hours per week with alternate weekends, delivering compassionate, person-centred care to residents and supporting daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living (washing, toileting, dressing).
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care while preserving dignity.
• Support residents with limited mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents who are confused or have behavioural needs.
• Contribute to continence promotion and end-of-life care as needed.
• Record daily care notes and participate in social activities with residents.
