Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for Augustus Court in Garforth/Leeds to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. The role is permanent, full-time (44 hours per week) and includes some alternate weekends. Salary is £12.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is a bonus.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Good communication and empathy with residents.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities such as washing, dressing and mobility, maintaining dignity.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care needs and monitor wellbeing.
• Encourage participation in activities and social engagement within the home.
• Record daily care notes and follow care plans and policies.
• Answer call systems, greet visitors and support staff and maintain a tidy environment.
