Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality personal care to residents at Rush Court Care Home in Wallingford. You’ll support daily living activities with dignity and respect, helping residents thrive in a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifikationen

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high‑quality, personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.Workingalongside our clinical and senior care teams, you’ll help create a safe, engaging and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.

What you'll do

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities in line with their individual needs and preferences.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Encouraging residents to take part in activities, hobbies and social engagement within the home.
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to senior team members.Maintaining accurate care records and following agreed care plans.
• Helping to create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Working as part of a supportive team and taking part in training and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills
