Qualifications

• You will bring empathy and compassion for older residents.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans.
• Willingness to be trained (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• Good observation skills to monitor residents' needs and wellbeing.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and infection control practices.
• Understanding of dementia care and resident dignity.
• Respect for older people and their independence.
• Patient, caring, and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including dementia care.
• Provide personal and social care aligned with care plans to enhance wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety practices.
