Job summary

Mayflower Care Home in Gravesend is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents across three floors, delivering person-centred care with dignity and independence. The role focuses on personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, within a warm, team-based environment.

Full training and ongoing development are provided; prior experience is beneficial but not essential. The position offers a contracted 23–46 hours per week with DBS pension and uniform supplied.

Responsibilities

• As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
• You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued.
• By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.
