Job summary

Avery Healthcare is recruiting a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to a supportive care home environment.

No prior experience is required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in your role, with day and night shifts available to support our residents.

Qualifications

• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and staff.
• Efficient worker able to follow instructions.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support continuity of services to residents.
• Assist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene while maintaining independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify clinical risks (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate as needed.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors and follow safe working practices.
