Job summary

EMED Group is seeking a full-time Ambulance Care Assistant to join our Stoke-on-Trent team. You will transport elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to appointments and between healthcare facilities, sometimes in two-person crews or alone, and you must hold a full UK manual driving licence.

The rota is 38.5 hours per week, 4 on, 4 off, with an hourly rate of £12.71. Benefits include life assurance, pension, access to GP services and DBS support, among others for wellbeing and financial

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Physically fit for patient handling and moving.
• Enhanced DBS check (company funded).
• Excellent communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Transport elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to appointments and between healthcare facilities.
• Two-person crews or solo driving as required.
• Assist with handing over patients at hospitals or treatment centres.
• Ensure ambulance is kept safe, clean and tidy.
