Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents across our care homes. You’ll support the Home Manager with fundraising and help residents socialise, drawing on kindness and a supportive approach.

The role requires great organisation, confidence with IT, and a warm, compassionate manner to work with residents and colleagues alike. On-site in our Kendal homes with safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals preferred.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Kind, compassionate and able to build relationships with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that engage residents.
• Support Home Manager with fundraising events.
• Foster social engagement and encourage participation.
• Maintain safeguarding awareness and report concerns.
