Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator in the United Kingdom to design and deliver engaging resident activities across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help organise fundraising events, foster social interaction and nurture residents’ hobbies with a compassionate approach.

Applicants should have a background in working with vulnerable individuals, strong planning and IT skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to use digital care planning systems.
• Commitment to safeguarding and completion of safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that delight Residents.
• Assist the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events.
• Help Residents socialise more effectively and engage in hobby-based activities.
• Communicate with Residents and colleagues with kindness and respect.
