Job summary

Baden-Powell & St. Peter’s CE Junior School is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming community. You will support children with SEND, foster positive behaviours and help pupils reach their learning goals in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and promote positive behaviour.
• Motivate and encourage pupils to engage with learning in a supportive environment.
• Work well in a team with teachers and support staff.
