Job summary

PKF Francis Clark in Bristol is seeking a detail‑oriented Company Secretarial Assistant to join our governance and compliance team. You will prepare filings, maintain registers, monitor deadlines, and support onboarding and client service while ensuring GDPR compliance.

The role requires organisation, discreet handling of confidential information and strong communication with colleagues and clients. Training is provided and a proactive, self‑starter will thrive here.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail in statutory filings and record-keeping.
  • Understanding of Companies House requirements or willingness to learn (training provided).
  • Experience in company secretarial, compliance, or professional services roles.
  • Confident with MS Office and quick to learn new systems; entity management software is a plus.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Companies House filings including CS01s, officer changes, PSC updates, and other statutory forms.
  • Maintain accurate statutory registers and entity records in the firm’s systems.
  • Monitor statutory deadlines, issue reminders, and support clients and engagement teams.
  • Manage the shared company secretarial inbox and triage routine queries.
  • Update internal systems with billing, WIP and entity data.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding clients for company secretarial services.
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate information and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Support clients with straightforward company secretarial queries and process guidance.
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure GDPR and internal standards compliance.
  • Work independently to manage workload, troubleshoot issues, and meet deadlines.

What you'll be doing day to day

About you
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy in statutory filings and record‑keeping.
