Job summary

MCS Group are delighted to partner with a growing Northern Ireland business to appoint a Company Accountant in Banbridge, joining the established finance team. This newly created role reports to the Financial Controller and offers ownership of a broad remit within a growing finance function.

The post provides exposure to monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, year-end reporting, and robust financial controls, with opportunities for progression in a developing business environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or strong QBE)
• Experience in commercial finance environment
• Manufacturing experience advantageous
• Practice-trained candidates considered

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
• Manage month-end processes and ensure information is accurate and delivered on time
• Support the Financial Controller with statutory and year-end reporting requirements
• Produce financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting procedures
