Job summary

MCS Group has partnered with a growing Northern Ireland business to recruit a Financial Controller to lead the day-to-day finance function from Banbridge. You will report to the Finance Director and shape monthly reporting, budgeting and governance alongside a dedicated finance team.

The role offers senior-level exposure, a clear leadership path and the chance to drive improvements, automation and robust financial controls while partnering with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Proven senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, driving a high-performance culture.
• Own the review, consolidation and delivery of monthly management accounts packs.
• Lead budgeting & forecasting processes.
• Business partner with key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Oversee financial governance, internal controls, statutory accounts, VAT and tax compliance.
• Support finance systems development and drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiency.

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Financial Controller to join their finance function based in Banbridge.

The Company:

Our client is a successful and growing organisation with an established presence in Northern Ireland. As part of continued growth and development, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in financial reporting, governance and business performance.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take a senior leadership position, lead a finance team and contribute to the continued development of the wider business.

The Rewards:

As the successful Financial Controller, you will receive:

• £65,000-£80,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
• Office based with early finish Friday;

The Role:

As the successful Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will:

• Lead and develop the finance team, driving a high-performance culture;
