Job description

Fantastic opportunity for a people-driven Company Accountant to join a rapidly expanding team. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will proactively manage and control the ledger functions of the Group.

You will be responsible for managing a team of approximately accounts/ledger assistants and must demonstrate previous experience in managing, leading, and coaching teams.

You will work with the Management Accountant to provide relevant information for the production of timely and accurate management accounts, along with:

• Ownership of the ledgers for the Group
• Overseeing invoicing and credit control processes
• Ongoing process improvements
• Management of intercompany transactions
• Ensuring team development and motivation
• Ad hoc finance projects as required by the business

This position suits either a qualified accountant or a QBE 'hands-on' manager who enjoys making a difference. A positive, can-do attitude is essential, as is a desire to meet deadlines and targets.
