Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Community Staff Nurse specializing in complex wound care to join our specialist wound care service. You will assess and manage ambulant patients, deliver evidence-based care, and work within a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal wound healing outcomes in community clinic settings.

You will conduct wound assessments, reviews and treatment planning, apply compression and advanced wound care techniques, and perform ABPI studies to guide

Qualifications

• NMC registration required.
• Nursing degree with tissue viability experience.
• Experience in wound care management.
• Lymphoedema and vascular experience desirable.
• Community nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive wound assessments, reviews and treatment planning for patients with complex wounds.
• Utilise tissue viability, vascular assessment and lymphoedema knowledge to inform care pathways.
• Apply advanced wound care techniques including compression therapy and specialised dressings.
• Conduct ABPI studies and interpret results to guide therapy and referrals.
• Provide holistic nursing assessments considering physical, psychological and social factors.
