Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Community Staff Nurse with a passion for wound care to join our specialist wound care service within community settings. You will assess and manage complex wounds, deliver evidence‑based care and work autonomously in a multidisciplinary team to optimise healing outcomes.

You will also perform ABPI studies, compression therapy, catheter and nephrostomy care, and maintain thorough clinical documentation in line with NMC standards.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence
• Wound care experience
• Nursing degree
• Tissue Viability experience
• Vascular experience
• Community Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based wound care in community clinic settings.
• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and ABPI studies to guide treatment.
• Deliver compression therapy and advanced wound care Techniques.
• Perform catheter and nephrostomy care as part of multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with Tissue Viability and Vascular teams.
• Engage patients in shared decision‑making and support self‑management.
