Job summary

Mind in Bradford is seeking a dedicated SMI-LE support worker to provide one-to-one mental health support. The role involves signposting, collaboration with other services, and travel across Bradford district to meet service members and offer personalised assistance.

The role requires a good grasp of local support services, safeguarding, and data protection. Flexible working options, including hybrid/remote where suitable, are available.

Qualifications

• Understanding mental health issues and related challenges.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection.
• Ability to gather information to support risk assessment.
• Proficiency with IT and Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for adults with mental health challenges.
• Signpost and complete onward referrals to relevant services.
• Travel within Bradford, Craven and surrounding areas to meet clients.
• Record information electronically and manage client risk and safeguarding.
• Contribute to administration, supervision, and team activities.
