Job summary

NatCen International in Scotland is recruiting Field Interviewers to visit local households and conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and everyday life. You’ll collect genuine stories with warmth and respect, helping ensure Scottish voices are represented in policy decisions.

You’ll work at least 20 hours per week over three days, with availability on weekdays, evenings and weekends. You’ll travel within your assigned area, receive full training, practical support, paid travel

Qualifications

• Excellent people-facing communication and listening abilities.
• Ability to put interviewees at ease and build rapport.
• Strong spoken English and written accuracy for notes.

Responsibilities

• Visit households in your local area to conduct in-home interviews.
• Accurately record responses and observations.
• Attend training and receive route planning support; travel within assigned area.
