Job summary

NatCen International is seeking Field Interviewers in Scotland to visit households and conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life. You’ll listen, document stories and help inform policy and services. Training is provided with shadowing, role-play and supported doorstep visits.

A 20+ hour weekly commitment across weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. You’ll receive a defined area, travel time and mileage support, and regular check-ins to help you stay on track.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check (Disclosure).
• Strong verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home interviews with participants.
• Record responses accurately using NatCen device.
• Plan routes and manage travel time within your patch.
• Travel across your assigned area as required.
