Job summary

NatCen International is seeking Field Interviewers to visit people in your local area and conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life across Scotland. The role emphasizes listening and accurate recording to inform policy decisions.

You will work at least 20 hours per week over three days, including evenings and weekends, with training provided, route planning support, and mileage reimbursement. A DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• At least 20 hours available per week.
• Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in your local area and carry out in-home research interviews on issues that matter.
• Guide thoughtful conversations and accurately record responses to inform decisions.
• Travel throughout your assigned area; mileage allowance is provided on most projects.
• Attend regular check-ins and receive training and support to stay on track.
